I finished setting up at Annette’s Book Nook for the event today, and really for the first time, I was amazed and proud to step back and think I created all of this…including @devin_3488 but minus the @truetoursfortmyers stuff…need to do that stepping back and being proud thing a bit more… I finished setting up at Annette's Book Nook for the event today, and really for the first time, I was amazed to step back and think I created all of this…including Devin Balzano but minus the True Tours stuff…need to do that stepping back and being proud thing a bit more… The book, part of the Haunted America Series, was written to be a frightening yet friendly journey through the heart of the forest and the towns dealing with its shadow. This meant many of the stories I heard and the rumors I followed up on could not be part of the book. There was something too dark and too complex for this kind of book. When I then published Ghostly Tales of the Ocala National Forest for a younger audience, many of those stories became even more watered down.
