    I had a really spooky dream about a ghost in the garden of a mansion. It lifted me up and was trying to throw me, so I said the “Our Father” to stop it. I have so many dreams about ghosts! I guess I’m obsessed with them. (PS there were graves in the yard of the mansion, too)

The book, part of the Haunted America Series, was written to be a frightening yet friendly journey through the heart of the forest and the towns dealing with its shadow. This meant many of the stories I heard and the rumors I followed up on could not be part of the book. There was something too dark and too complex for this kind of book.
